The client wanted to redesign the exiting logo to represent the new line of business and to target a new audience.

• UX Design – Improve user experience of the existing website and enhancement of the existing technology platforms to make the application reliable and faster.

• Content Management System (CMS) – Calpian required a content management system (CMS) to manage their web content like Articles, Press Releases, Testimonials, News Updates and descriptive Flowchart Diagrams in different sections through an easy admin panel.

• Sliding/Rotating Banners on Homepage – Homepage needed sliding/rotating banners representing the different services offered by Calpian. Content on banner in HTML format.

• Banner on Innerpage – Innerpage with fixed banner on top. Content on banner in HTML format.

• Plug-ins Integration – Integration of social media plug-ins as well as iframe widgets.

• Old Data Migration – Develop a secured migration plan to move data from the existing WordPress platform to new Joomla CMS.

• Quality Assurance Plan – A Quality Assurance Plan to thoroughly test for application defects.

• Documentation Documentation of the code and platform used to build the application.

Discovery – Our developer and designer team had several rounds of discussions to understand the goals and objectives of the client. After careful evaluation of different CMS platforms, we recommended the latest version of Joomla

Design – Several calls and meetings were held between our team and the team at Calpian to understand the philosophy of the new corporate identity.

Frontend Section – We developed jQuery enabled flexible menus and sub menus to enhance the look and feel of the website.

Banners – We provided services specific banners on homepage and inner page.

Flowchart and Diagrams – We developed jQuery enabled flowchart and diagrams effective on hovering tooltips to show the description of images and processes used in various flowchart diagrams.

Download Links – Simple interface with links to download various documents and articles in the frontend section.

Admin Section – We developed a user-friendly admin section to manage articles, press releases, news updates etc. We also used the admin for the following reasons:

• Add/create multiple external links using admin section

• Upload documents and images for downloads

• Add/create/change Breadcrumbs and Banners

• Create SEO friendly URLs

• Create menus and submenus and their page layouts using admin section

• Integrate/update social media plug-ins as well as iframe widgets

Data Migration Process – BluEnt developed a secure and reliable data migration plan to move existing data from WordPress to Joomla. We developed a reverse-migration plan just in case if there were any unexpected errors.

Quality Assurance (QA) Process – We conducted regular meetings with all of those working on the application and set their QA responsibilities and overall schedule.

Users Manual Development – BluEnt developed a comprehensive documentation of the code and platform used to build the new website.

Step-by-step instructions were listed in the “Application Developer Guide”. Each step was explained in detail in the corresponding section of the template.

Delivery – Regular meetings between the BluEnt team and the client team were held to discuss the progess, implement changes and revisions.
