They are one of the prominent manufacturers & exporters of complete window treatments: curtain drapery rods, drapery hardware, curtains, window in a box, tassel & tiebacks, drapery panels, trimmings, fringes, etc.

They wanted a professional website to:

• Promote business & reach out more business synapses

• Do away with geographical boundaries and time constraints

• Level the playing-field between their business and competitors

• Enter into a dialogue with their customers

• Include a news section to show that their website was up-to-date

They requested the following features in the website:

• An eye-catching design with Flash effects

• SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

• 20+ general content pages (such as: home, about us, services, clients, products, opportunities, contact us, testimonials)

We designed some templates and worked on database structure designing and development.

After the client approved and signed off on the homepage and internal pages’ design templates, the HTML pages development stage began.

We followed MVC (Model, View and Controller) architecture in this project. This system had two modules:

• Admin (user authentication is required only for admin section)

• Front End

Admin: In the admin module, there were 5 sections as follows:

• Users: In users section, we could add/edit/delete user.

• Manage Tour: Modify/delete existing tour or create a new tour.

• Manage Page Content: Manage the content of the front-end pages.

• Manage Presentation: Create/edit/delete the presentation for front-end pages.

• Manage Slide: Create/edit/delete and change the ordering of slides for front-end pages.

• Feature Tour: Create/edit/delete feature tours. Feature tours could be student tour, special tour, parties, overnight tour, international tour, etc.
