According to an article online, “Ries identified MVP as a phase of the product discovery process: ‘the version of a new product which allows a team to collect the maximum amount of validated learning about customers with the least effort.'”
MVP became one of the phases, which was openly embraced by most app developers and turned out to be stepping-stone to the app’s success.
